Stool Cleanroom – a mobile and safe stool for cleanroom and ESD environments Stool Cleanroom is a high-quality cleanroom stool specifically designed for cleanroom and ESD applications. It meets and exceeds the requirements of cleanrooms and electrostatically sensitive working environments and is ideally suited for laboratories as well as the electronics and pharmaceutical industries and other demanding production areas. The stool is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and provides complete ESD protection in accordance with EN 61340-5-1. Conductive components, volume-conductive castors and conductive upholstery ensure safe use in ESD-sensitive environments. The typical leakage resistance is approximately 10⁶ ohms. Ergonomic and comfortable seating Stool Cleanroom supports a natural and healthy sitting posture. The rounded front edge of the seat helps prevent restricted blood circulation in the thighs and enhances comfort even during long working periods. The extra-large seat with a diameter of 400 mm, combined with the thick and soft 60 mm comfort padding, ensures excellent seating comfort. Seat height can be infinitely adjusted by gas spring between 450 and 650 mm. The convenient ring release allows height adjustment from any sitting position. The protective cover over the gas spring prevents dust and dirt from entering the mechanism. Cleanroom-optimized design and upholstery The stool’s mechanism and adjustment ring are concealed beneath a soft protective cover, preventing particle release and dust accumulation. This allows for fast and efficient cleaning and supports a high level of hygiene. The upholstery material is high-quality artificial leather designed for demanding cleanroom use. It is easy to wash and disinfect, PVC- and phthalate-free, and remains soft and flexible even after years of use. The artificial leather is resistant to blood and urine and complies with fire safety requirements according to EN 1021 Parts 1 and 2. Colour: black. The large 65 mm laboratory castors roll smoothly and are easy to clean. The stool is equipped with safety castors that lock when not in use, reducing the risk of accidents.
