The Bimos ESD saddle chair is designed for the electronics industry and other ESD-protected working environments. It is particularly suitable for elevated workstations where freedom of movement is needed or legroom is limited. The chair’s electrically conductive components form a continuous discharge path from the seat to the castors. When used with conductive flooring or an ESD mat, the chair dissipates the user’s electrostatic charges in a controlled manner. The ergonomically contoured saddle seat supports the natural S-shape of the spine. Three-zone foam cushioning distributes seating pressure, while the 3D seat mechanism allows small movements and natural changes in sitting position. The stepless seat height adjustment of 54–80 cm makes it easy to adapt the chair to the user and workstation. The black Magic ESD artificial leather is soft and hard-wearing. The PVC-free upholstery is wipe-clean and resistant to oils and standard disinfectants. Its seamless, crease-free finish makes cleaning easier. The polished aluminium base measures just 54 cm in diameter, making the chair suitable even for compact workstations. Soft, load-dependent braked ESD twin-wheel castors are suitable for hard floors and allow easy movement around the workstation.
