BarMouse 2 ergonomic centred mouse, wide wrist rest

BarMouse 2 is the updated version of the familiar BarMouse centred mouse. This model has a wide faux leather wrist rest that offers more support surface for the hands than the version with a narrow rest. The control sits directly in front of the keyboard, so your hand no longer has to reach out to the side for a conventional mouse. Moving between typing and pointing takes only small movements, with the arms close to the body. A centred mouse suits both right- and left-handed users and lets you switch the controlling hand during the working day. Using both hands and reducing sideways reaching can help ease one-sided strain. BarMouse 2 can therefore support the prevention of mouse arm problems as part of sound workstation ergonomics, good hand support and regular breaks. The pointer is moved by rolling the control bar and sliding it sideways. The bar is also used for clicking, and the click resistance is adjustable. Pointer precision can be selected in 12 steps between 400 and 2,800 DPI, with four LED indicators showing the chosen level. Eight programmable buttons and 12 ready-made button settings make everyday actions such as copy and paste easier in operating systems that support them. BarMouse 2 connects to the computer with a USB cable, with no separate driver installation. In addition to the USB-A connection, a USB-C adapter is included. The mouse works with Windows, macOS and Linux. The copy and paste buttons are not supported on macOS.
