Kinesis Freestyle 2 keyboard
Most keyboards, including ergonomic models, have a 10-degree positive tilt from front to back. This type of design can cause your wrists to bend. The Freestyle2, however, has a zero-degree tilt, minimizing height and effectively creating a negative tilt, reducing wrist flexion. Its slim design makes it suitable as an office or travel keyboard. Freestyle2 is suitable for a wide range of users, offering maximum flexibility to adapt to each individual's unique needs. By default, the two modules are connected by a flexible pivot hinge, allowing for extensive separation options. Removing the hinge allows for a separation of approximately 22 cm between the left and right key modules, ideal for customizing from a narrow configuration to complete separation. The Freestyle2 keyboard requires less force per keystroke than usual, with an average maximum force of 45 grams. This is about 25% less than most traditional and ergonomic keyboards, where the force exceeds 60 grams. Programmed quick keys provide easy access to commonly used mouse functions (forward and back on the internet, undo, home, cut, copy, and paste). It has a Nordic layout. The cable between the keyboard modules is approximately 23 cm long, and the power cord measures 1.83 m. The standard key layout allows for quick adoption and use. Padded palm rests, available as an accessory (product code AC820), reduce wrist flexion by keeping the hands supported.
